Boston MPUG Meeting:

Groundhog Day – ‘Déjà Vu All Over Again!

Meeting Announcement:  Join the MPUG Boston Chapter for…

Groundhog Day – ‘Déjà Vu All Over Again!”

Waltham, MA - On Wednesday February 1, 2012 (the day before Groundhog Day), The Boston Chapter of MPUG (Official Industry Association for Microsoft Project) will be holding a membership meeting.   This interactive presentation and discussion will be delivered by Mr. John Riopel and Mr. Matthew T. Davis of PM Providers.

What do Project Management and Groundhog Day have in common (the holiday and the movie)?  In the movie, weatherman Bill Murray finds himself living the same day over and over again much to his dismay.  Does that remind you of any of your projects?  Come learn some tips for how to effectively deal with repetition and avoid having your project go down the groundhog hole.  Here’s hoping for an early spring!

Key Topics:

  • Working with recurring tasks – uses, creation & resource allocation
  • Process verses project
  • Importing modules into your plan
  • Do it again with templates
  • How much is too much

The presentation will be given at the Microsoft District Office at 201 Jones Rd. (6th floor, Room MPR-B); Waltham, MA 02451.  Cost for the event is free for members and $15 for non-members.  Food, soft drinks and special treats will be served.  Directions:
